Revelations From My Pour-over Coffee

Writer: RadiantBloom Yoga and WellnessRadiantBloom Yoga and Wellness

I just recently started drinking coffee... I know, hard to believe, but better late than never. When I was getting prepared to start my coffee drinking journey, I asked for advice on the best coffee maker to purchase. People were very kind and offered their suggestions, and then someone suggested Pour-over Coffee. I had no idea what Pour-over Coffee was so of course I Googled it. I was very intrigued by the process and the cost savings I would get by not needing to buy a pricier coffee maker. The coffee brewed this way was so good.

I was offered coffee maker brewed coffee one day, and it was not the same.

So one day while drinking my morning coffee and reading my devotional, the Revelation came!

My life is like this Pour-over Coffee process!

The process of me growing in my faith and connecting with Christ has been rich and delicious! It was a slow, gradual process, but God poured over me and the best of me continues to be released! Brewing Pour-over Coffee takes dedication and time....it isn't quick and mindless. Reminding me I always want to treat my faith journey and God connection with dedication and to marinate in all God pours on me.

Taking it slow, but being consistent!

*Since I spoke about Pour-over Coffee, I am posting a pic with directions on the process in case you want to try it out! And I don't weigh mine I just use a scoop (1 Tbsp) of coffee grounds per cup of coffee desire.

Blessings!

I love my French press far better than coffee maker. I've never tried the pour over but it seems similar. Great post! ☕
